Thank you for being a friend, Bea Arthur!

It’s been a long time since I’ve written a new article on my blog. This time, I would like to honour a special person. With her sarcastic jokes as Dorothy in “Golden Girls,” she brought a ray of sunshine into our grey everyday lives; her coolness in even the worst situations served us as an example not to worry too much. Her tenor voice will haunt us forever and make us remember a person that was not only a famous TV character, but also a good friend to us.

Yesterday, Bea Arthur passed away at the age of 86 in her family circle. The reason for her death is a cancer disease.

To revive some moments with her, I now want to show you some “Golden Girls” clips from Youtube:

The opening credits…

…some bloopers to warm up…

…the Miami Jingle :D

…and the final scene of Golden Girls (Season 7, “One Flew Out of the Cuckoo’s Nest Part 2″)…

R.I.P. Beatrice Arthur!
